Exhibition and live performance by Alison Cooper plus guest musicians
Alison Cooper (Magpahi) is a musician and artist inspired by the absent narratives of the past. These lost stories sometimes seem to never be fully realised in the present but only recreated through opening a re-imagined space, percieving lost auras in time.
Recently studying a Foundation in herbal medicine has enabled Cooper to delve deeper into the historic narratives of the natural environment and it's calendar of yearly ritual.
Using sound, print and moving image, this exhibition will explore the customs, traditions and folklore behind the scared Hawthorn tree, traditionally used as a remedy for the heart.
Preview: Sunday 29th July 2pm
Live music performances at 3pm and 4.30pm
Exhibition continues until 1st August. 11am - 4pm each day
